Not to be mistaken with traditional Pilates, Lagree Fitness takes place on a revolutionary machine known as “The Megaformer”.
This machine continues to advance and evolve each year to bring you more intense, well-designed, low-impact workouts. Many of the movements on the Megaformer are ones that you’ve seen before - lunges, squats, planks, etc. But Lagree uses their own fun, unique language to take these “basic” movements and make them their own.
If you’ve taken a Lagree class you may be familiar with terms such as “Bear (killer move), Escalator lunge (cue the shakes), and wheelbarrow (holy abs) which are “basic” exercises advanced by Lagree Fitness. All movements in class are designed to go at a slow pace to focus on “time under tension” which targets your slow-twitch muscle fibers. You’ll place intense focus on your muscles while keeping your joints safe in this low-impact workout that allows you to really develop a mind-body connection like no other.
